Over time, kitchen unit doors can drop and work their way loose, but it’s a simple fix. This video takes you through some simple steps to adjust your kitchen unit doors.
For this repair you will need:
- A pozidriv screwdriver
You can also follow along with the steps below.
Open your kitchen unit door and remove the cover plates from the hinges, to gain access to the adjustment screws.
The back screw will adjust the door inwards and outwards, whilst the front screw will adjust it left and right.
If the bottom is loose, start by tightening this.
Once you’re happy with the bottom, you can move on to adjust the top.
Try opening and closing the door a few times, and make any adjustments needed.
Once you’re happy, replace the cover plates and your door is now ready.
