While believe housing manages and maintains properties, tenants are responsible for insuring the contents of their home.
Some tenants incorrectly assume that their furniture, personal belongings and decorations are automatically insured against theft, fire damage and burst pipes.

We advise all our tenants take out take out their own home contents insurance, and you may like to consider the scheme we have negotiated with RSA Insurance Group.

Your contents insurance covers your contents and personal items within the property, i.e. the things you’d take with you if you moved house. This can also be considered as anything that would fall out of your house if you tipped it upside down.
To make a claim, you will need to contact the insurance administrators, Ryan Direct Group directly and not us at believe housing. You can do this by calling 0345 6718171.
